Louiss Lim, is once or my friend in KL, i get know him in a special situation.

Our History 
I still remember beginning of 2006, when i back to suffer my last semester and searching for room to rent, i meet this guy at a house which has room to rent. He arrive there 1st, follow by me. I just chat with him for 5 minute and get know him. That time i know he is a foundation student, my junior, he said he dont have transpot and he are looking for place to rent also. So i invite him to follow me to search together since i have motobike. That day onward, i know him and we keep contact at the following time. May be this is call Fate.

On that time, we both don have any knowledge on blog, if not mistaken, we don even know what is blog. We always come out chit chat, yam cha, share idea. He is a business student, and have alot of business idea to share with me. I am an IT student and i share what ever IT can use in business.

Hardwork no wasted 
He is a very hardwork guy and non stop looking for what he want. that why today he is consider a half success blogger. When he start blogging, he have choose a good niche, alot of people now a days are looking to blog, some blog for fun, some blog because want to make money online. According to him, he choose this topic because he want to know more on blogging, when he get know whant he want, he will blog it and share with all his audience. 

Page Rank 5 in few month effort

As i mention before in my previous post : Start Blogging . Louiss now is earning 3 figure income, it is not MYR, it is USD. just a part time blogger who are still study able to earn 3 figire USD as part time income. who know soon will earn 4 figire. “How to blog?”

i always heard this question when i share with my friend on blogging. the 2nd word they reply me sure will be this:

“You are IT guy, sure easy for you, not for us”

Are they right? definately right… “half only”… it is sure easy for IT literate person, but outside there still have alot of success blogger who earn 5 figure income per month. some are even earning US Dollar. They are just a house wife. So why dont have a try to blog.

 “How to  Start?”

1st, find your niche.  there are  2 simple way, #1 is to find the area were you have a particular skill, interest, knowledge or aptitude.  #2 is to decide if the area is too general  (e.g. like IT or Engineering or Gardening) and if so to find a niche within were you can operate successfully.

You can blog

• Things you enjoy doing e.g. doing Writing review on book, movie etc
• Any special skills : Computing, Cooking, plating piano or guitar
• Any Topics or skills you would like to know more about : learn Japanise language, Webdesign, making money online and etc.

 “Pay or Without Pay?”

Both also can, it is recomended to have own domain and paid hosting. For me, when i started blog, i am using free blogging service with own domain name. Here are 2 most popular free blogging service that i can recomend : www.blogger.com and www.wordpress.com .

Option1: Free Domain, Free Service (All Free) 
You are actually can get all free, sign up the free blogging service, you able to get a free sub domain, which is either www.yourname.blogspot.com or www.yourname.wordpress.com . Recomend to NEW BLOGGER

Option2: Buy Domain, Free service (Half Free)
when i start blog, i am using blogger.com, i have a free domain which is www.mylittlepenang.blogspot.com i have purchase a domain from namecheap. refer My previous post : My 1st Domain name (Getting start) and point the Domain name to my free domain (Using URL forwarding in the domain contro panel). This option is recomended for those want to blog long term, and want to build your Reputation(Domain Name)

Option3: Buy Domain and Paid Hosting (No Free)
i have paid my hosting for this blog, now a days the hosting service are quite cheap, as cheap as RM99 per year(approx 30USD). My self, i am paid RM299 (approx USD88) for 2 year. And my domain are buy from Yahoo, only USD1.99 (approx RM7.04) when it have promotion. For Hosting Package like mine, you can visit Exabytes . So far no complaint on the service.

If you choose Option 1, dont wait anymore, find a niche and start blog, you wont loss any single cent. Even you can “EARN MONEY ONLINE” with Option 1.

Today i receive a foward mail from my communication manager, again is the “Planned Outage Activities” from TM net.

i just wonder last time postoned is because of people complaine of down time too long. (24 hour) refer“Cyberjaya DC shut down has been postponed“. Almost 1 month they posponed from the date 1st schedule. refer  Cyberjaya DataCentre will shut down on 14th April.

This time they want to shut down 25hour. How come like that? Let me find our some answer in WebmasterMalaysia Forum. Here is the email we receive from our email&hosting provider.

We would like to inform you that TMNet has scheduled repair and audit activities in the Cyberjaya1 Data Center (formerly known as MyLoca) that involve the whole Data Center. It is part of an ongoing effort to ensure the integrity and reliability of the electrical power system of the Data Center at all times.

Start date: 12-05-2007 Saturday
Start time: 06.00AM Malaysian Time

End date: 13-05-2007 Sunday
End time: 07.00AM Malaysian Time

The maintenance work is expected to conclude within 24 hours. During these 24 hours period of activities, all servers located at Cyberjaya1 Data Center will have to be shutdown. As a result, you will be unable to access all websites and emails hosted at Cyberjaya1 Data Center for the duration of the exercise.
