Back to month ago, where by I attend my CCNA course, and the CCNA’s tutor provide us a software name “Packet Tracer“, a Cisco simulation software, to learn how to use this software, the CCNA’s tutor also provide use 6 module of Packet Tracer Video tutorial, and I manage to upload 2 module of video tutorial begining of this month. Video Tutorial 3 – Troubleshooting on Packet Tracer

In this video tutorial, the student are using the wrong cable type to connect between Cisco switch and workstation, the diagram indicated red dot, which mean traffic cannot pass through. The tutor have advice the student how to troubleshoot, by checking on the cable type, to change from cross-over cable to straight-through cable. Problem have been solve after change the cable type. Green dot appear, and the student able to send packet from 1 workstation to another workstation. This is how the Cisco simulation software works.

If 1 end green dot (Workstation), 1 end orange dot (Switch) which mean the switch are using spanning tree protocol, it require some time to change the color to green dot (1 or 2 minute)

Video Tutorial 4 – Using Packet Tracer in Presentation

The tutor show how to use packet tracer to open the interface on the router, do Cisco basic configuration on the router, put the hostname as “myrouter” and also show run (Show all the current configuration)

Router(config) # hostname MyRouter
MyRouter(config) # exit
MyRouter # sh run

Penangite… Did you register already?

The last Webmaster Malaysia Gathering 2007 was 1 year ago. The 1st gathering organize by WebmasterMalaysia.com which located on starbuck, egate, Penang on 28th Sept 2007.

The 2nd and the 3rd time was organize at Kuala Lumpur (KL), Malaysia. As a Penangite, I can’t arrange time to attend. Miss out a lot of good chance to meet those webmaster at KL.

1 year later after the 1st gathering. Now… WebmasterMalaysia.com again organize the 4th gathering, this time organize at Penang. Hooray… I can attend!

Last week, 8th Sept, Monday, I receive a parcel and found that there are moon cake in side. 4 pcs of Tai thing moon cake worth RM40++ nealy RM50 if include postage. Thank for Exabytes send moon cake to me.

I was curious! Did Exabytes send to all their client?

I meet Kai Loon over msn and he told me he receive the moon cake, but while I ask another friend Johnathan and DavidLee, they did not receive it. Weired

After eating 2 pcs, I asking my mom remember to treat God eat on Chinese lunar 15th (14th Sept), which is the prayers for Mid-Autumn Festival. Wish God give my online earning can increase and also my traffic will increase also hope the website do not down

We did not open the moon cake while prayers, but after the prayers, we open the packat, found that the moon cake fungus, or so call goes moldy or become mildewed.

Damm, See so many moldy on top of the moon cake… (more…)

Did you face before the server which hosted your website get overloaded? While server overload, our website is unable to access or hardly access. This kind of situation mostly come while peak business hour, and high traffic access the web server.

As an administrator at the data center, they require to suspended some of the website that have high traffic which cause the server overload. The website owner will sure be frustrated when his/her website get suspended. If the administrator did not suspended the particular website which cause problem, the rest of the website in the same server will become victim.

While this situation happen, the owner of the website which get suspended sure will said “I did not exceed my bandwidth usage, How come suspended me?“. (more…)
