I visit to Pulau Langkawi last week end, went there for 3 day 2 nite with 2 of my friend. This trip consider budget trip because the motel we rent are only RM35/night (Approximate 10USD). The motel located at kuah town, a TV, air cond, bed, cupboard, table and chair, attach bath room with water heater.
For transportation, we rent a Sedan, Toyota Collora 1.6 just only RM50/day, and RM50 petrol for 3 day trip, enough to round whole Langkawi island already.
1st day, we took 8.15am speed boat, we arrive around 1130, In between, we have pass by Pulau Payar, to drop some passenger, Pulau Payar is a nice place to visit, good for those who like diving and swimming. A lot of nice fishie which they will swim around you, you are allow to feed them with bread. I went to Pulau Payar many year ago.
After arrive at Langkawi Island, call up my friend, who doing car rental service to pick up the car, and heading to check in, after check in, we went for lunch just downstairs the motel, coffee shop is just downstairs the motel.
We heading to few places after lunch, we visit legend park, unfortunately, it under renovation, follow by visit helang square, is the must visit place with a big eagle stature just behind legend park.
Weather is not so hot, so we heading to Makam Matsuri, which is a grave for a princess! Follow by Argo Technology Park, and heading to Gunung Raya after taking the nice fruit.

I’m looking forward to a trip there as well with my girl friend. How much you rent for a car? How’s the rate? Perhaps, you can post a short travel guide base on your experience to langkawi, I would love to see it seriously.

Hey, Toyota Collora 1.6 just only RM50/day is really cheap. Last time I rent Proton Wira, expensive than this.
