    is cat5/5e, cat6 and cat7 using the same colour code arrangement for straight cable ?

    WO/O WG/B WB/G WC/C

    if all using same configurations, what’s caused them to have different speed ? 10/100/1000MB etc..

    Cat5 normally can up to 100mbps, cat6 can up to 1Gbps, and Cat7 can up to 40Gbps. Some of the company need this kind of high speed cable to transmit their data

    cat5e and cat 6 are using same arrangement, but cat7 a bit different.

    the copper in the cable make the speed become diffferent, try to compare cat5e with cat6, you can see cat6 cable is more thicker, and also there are a plastic to separate the cable, to avoid interference
