On yesterday movie, I have mention that Exabytes are giving free windows hosting, I guess should be temporary, because is BETA version only, may be future will need to paid, since WindowsServer 2008 will be launch next year.

My self also have 2 pcs of WindowsServer 2008 beta DVD(Sure Original one) that obtain during Microsoft Seminar few month back. The server specification are high, if not, i will install in my PC and test it out.

For this package include:

200MB Disk Space are enough for personel website of beginner, the advantage is this webhosting able to Host Own domain, you can choose subdomain if you dont have a domain. Only 1 MySQL database should enough for beginner. Since it is free, that sure have some disadvantage, i have hosted those opensources CMS such as Joomla and osCommerce, it can support and run normally, only can’t send out notification mail to the person who sign up as member. According to some Webmaster from WMM forum, the Mail () function on the hosting are close or disable, it is to prevent people send out spam mail

Few week ago when i searching some free hosting. i found this free hosting website,  so far, is the 1st free hosting that i found which can hosted own domain. It is a good source for those beginner who own a domain and only know normal web design (HTML or Frontpage). This Web host are recomended for student.

i have sign up an account and help once of my friend host his website, early stage was no problem, every thing getting smooth, but after 1 week,  my friend call me, ” Calvyn, why my website half page only? and why have some other thing apear on top of my website?” Unfortunately the webhost put some banner on top of my website. This is the cons of the free hosting.

This hosting company also provide some free tools, such as tools to help you to developing your website, tools to help you increase traffic, tools to help you interact with your visitors and affliate program that help you earn money. i am subscribe some of the free service for testing. once found any good stuff, sure will share out… affiliation is the 1st service i subscribe, the hosting company will pay $1 for each refferal.
