In my country, webhosting service offer at here is not expensive, approximate $35 per year only, while foreign webhosting service, some offer $5 per month to $8 per month.Compare to local, still much more expensive, some of the beginner or new webmaster not afford to purchase.

In the other hand, if the target visitor is local visitor, most webmaster would prefer to host the website locally, since it is fast loading and low cost to them.

In some other case, webmaster choose foreign web hosting service such as US hosting or Canada hosting because their target visitor are from foreign country or the whole world. The server over there are much more faster because the internet speed/bandwidth they offer are higher.

Back to last year October 2007, I have show before a website name MyIPNeighbors, which you can check whom hosted same server with your domain, or how many domain in a server. This year let me introduce another tools which allow you to check who hosted the same server with your domain.

In this website, simply in the your website address or domain name over the “remote address” section and click “check”

It will display all the domain name who hosted in the same server. According to You Get Signal Website, the result are not guarantee.

It use the reverse IP check technology, which check the domain IP address pointed to the particular web server, and find out those domain name with the same IP address via Search Engine Result.

How to change email password at Direct Admin

Last time, before I really start my hosting business, I do introduce all my reader who need hosting to buy from my friend, and his hosting are using direct admin.

Some of my reader face the same problem after use the direct admin webmail, it does not has the link to change the email password.

For example, the owner of the hosting create a email with a temporally password for his friend or family, while the person login the webmail, it does not able to change password, unlike cPanel. cPanel able to let user change the password just after login to the webmail, (illustrator as below)

Some time I will receive email from my reader, they are asking me what hosting service am I using? I have recommended them base on their needs & budget.

Seriously I do research on some hosting service around the world. Few thing I have research is the company background and survey on people who use the service from various Webmaster forum.

For Oversea or US hosting service, I would recommend DreamHost, this company which has 10 year experience for web hosting service since Year 1997. Website Pagerank is PR8 (I guess Google very like them) and Alexa less then 4.5K

According to history
10 year ago, a group of student, developed this hosting service for their university graduation project (here we call it as FINAL YEAR PROJECT), with this opportunity, they start their business with just a simple Pentium web server, and a shared bandwidth Internet Line.===> until today.

The offer for this hosting package become more better today, I still remember last year, the offer are not as good as today. Space and bandwidth are lesser if compare with current offer.
