Other then 3 bosses, 2 sales colleague, 1 clerk a.k.a boss’s secretary, and 3 technical engineer include me. My company just have 9 person. As a senior to another 2 technical engineer, I have to give them some guide and minimum supervision during each task assign by my boss.

To have a quality job performance, some time, I need to schedule, planning, analyst the problem to be able to come out a smooth work load and a good solution. Without this, some how customer complain that we did not follow up on their unsolved issue, or delay to solve the problem.

Recently I meet a china friend over a Chinese forum, which discuss on Ecshop ecommerce system. According to him, most youngster over china buy online, e-commerce is consider a new tread at China.

While Malaysia, still not much Online shop, youngster here just started to sell thing online via their blog, friendster profile, facebook profile, and forums. E-Commerce Trend is still slow over here, but is consider a new begin.

Open an Online shop is also one of my dream long time ago; In my opinion, to open an e-commerce website, the most important is product branding, packaging with appropriate branding will help the product increase value.

Last year, I having lunch with a company big boss, during our conversation, he told me about his business trip at Cambodia, found that at the air port are selling some colorful stone, which is Cambodia famous item. This stone come with very nice packaging, a small booklet with description, and some nice sticker, selling at $50. While out of air port, in the city market, also have a similar stone which sell at less then $5 without any branding and packaging.

We always saw news paper or television shows those send SMS (Short Messege System) to the particular 5 digit number. Example type “On football” and send to 33200, and you will receive news update at your mobile phone set with the news you interested. Such as latest foot ball result. We call this as shortcodes service.

Some of the charges are normal SMS, (Short Messege System) rate and some are higher charges rate. Mostly company use this kind of shortcodes service to deliver text marketing, text-to-win, and text promotions ads to their customer. Once customer subscribe, they have to paid for the news receive. Did you ever housekeeping your web hosting? Some Web Hosting company provide huge web space, but some provide less, but the web space we have is more then enough to let us host our website.

While every time I ftp to my web hosting, and found a lot of rubbish in there, I will feel not comfortable with those file. Did you have this feeling? I have to housekeeping those rubbish in there, mostly are those web page or script that I create for testing. (more…)

Now a days, with the advance of technology and web application, more and more people bring their business online! Even a dobby shop near my house also have a website & also “Nyonya Kuih” (Asian Cake) ‘s store at the market also having a website too. Some of the business owner even realize the powerful of blog, and get them self into business blogging.

When talk about having a website, most of the small business owner does not have idea where/how to start, they not even understand what is web hosting, and they only know they need a “dot com” in order for them to have their business website.
