Hi Calvyn, i think most of our friends here were experiencing a disconnected fever by Digi Broadband. I stayed in Kinrara and summoned that few times my signal lost and disconnected. I just wanted to know what was really happen with the connection from your IT point of view? Is it because of the line coverage or the traffic? pls specified in your technical overview..Thanks bro.

Digi broadband sucks. I have tried many places.
Puchong area (near putra prima) - EDGE and line very unstable. Slower than dial up and constantly get disconnected. - SUCKS big time
80% of time, can't connect to internet.

Subang Airport - Got EDGE/GPRS coverage but can't connect to internet. Better use free McD wireless internet. (buy an ice cream and ask for password)

Terengganu - GPRS all the time. Slow and gets disconnected itself all the time. I think better use dial up.

The only place i found it is working is near KLCC area. HSPDA connection but near my office already, don't bother to use Digi internet. Office internet connection - 10x faster....

In PJ section 14, the advertisment of DIGI broadband is so big near my house, but i really cant expect that the connection is so BAD!! Really disappointed on it!!! this few days even worse, always at 0.00kbps, then disconnect itself. Else, the speed is less than 10 kbps...

I hope someone can help me on this one. My friend bought a Virgin Broadband Modem which can detect Celcom 3G, Digi Edge, Maxis Edge. It has no problem connecting to Celcom 3G if the signal is strong. But in certain area, while the 3G signal is weak, it drops to GPRS connection which sucks. So in areas where 3G is weak, we tried using Digi/Maxis data card. The modem can detect both(EDGE) but cannot auto connect. I guess, it should be the setting problem. Can anyone help?
