Mine cost around USD68/year for a 500MB storage and a 30GB bandwidth/month. Apart from that, service allow by the host is also important, as some host does not even allow linking of photos from gallery, for posting in other forums or sites, as they have place an anti-linking firewall setting !! So ........getting a good host, would really save us lots of trouble, so that we could concentrate building our site ! getting a good host is really important, as I have learn my lesson well :(

Apart from storage and bandwidth, the host technical support and their promptness in response, is one of the very important aspect that we would need to look at !!

Mine cost around USD68/year for a 500MB storage and a 30GB bandwidth/month.

DreamHost gives you tons of storage but in practice you won't be able to use it because: - the storage is for your site only, so you can't store any other files (for backup for instance) - if your site if that big that you do need all the storage you'll exceed your CPU usage and they'll stop you from doing it anyway. I personally recommend WebFaction ( h ttp://www.webfaction.com ), which is one of the few providers who do not oversell like crazy, which means that their servers tend to be faster and more stable.
