Maxis Suxxx Again

Files under Networking | Posted by calvyn

Back to my complaint long long time ago on :Maxis lousy service, recently i found that Maxis Boardband for my location are terrible! The speed are damm slow! Last time when i ping my domain iCalvyn.com, i get the respond 23 to 25ms, and recently i found that the respond is 100 to 150ms…

Few days back, i receive a call from a friend at KL, she is my Uni Classmate, she know that i am using Maxis from my blog, and she call me for assist. She told me that she subscribe to Maxis and the technician come to fix at afternoon, and did not fix properly for them. They found unable to connect it. After some basic trouble shoot. The modem mention that no SIM card, probably is the card did not activate yet, and i advice her to call toll free 1800 88 2000, she told me that nearby her house have a Maxis center, and i told her is useless to ask there, because my experience on Maxis center are suxxx

  • No knowledge
  • No manner
  • Rude
  • Very action
  • bla bla…. sure ask you to call help line ask question

So at the end, she call me again, said that my word are true , she unable to get any solution from there and at the end still need to call help desk.

Back to my case, i can’t stand any more on the low connection speed, so i send out an email to customercare@maxis.com.my to mention on my dissatisfaction, and finally receive their call. Few question was asked and they told me will revert to me shortly… See how? sure slow respond one…

I really hope Maxis will improve their service in future!!!

I using Celcom broadband. Just subscribed last week. So far everything is fine. But sometimes the speed is really slow. Around 50k to 80kbps. But in the morning the speed can reach up to 390kbps even though I subscribed the 384kbps package.

My friends want to subscribe Maxis broadband. After read your articles, I think I will pull them off from Maxis and use Celcom instead.

    hi ,

I like to comment to all jokers, that jokering around with Celcom and Maxis wireless…. Wireless internet is used based on radio based packet technology. You can surt the internet and find me one customer that is really satisfied with anything that is using this kind of the services and technology…It your brain that need to be suck up and try love what your have in your life. Complain is the first we make but last to to think

WHAT if we dont have at all this services in this world…..

Around 850 million users are suffering from food, do they complain and call the center core that their not getting proper food….The beauty of this 850 million people is that they know what the value of simple and little food.

So HSPDA is using wave technolgy that is not stable like cable lined. To people who not satisfied always …there is one guy that will take care of you…the GOD

    Hi,

I have tested HSDPA 3.6Mbps service at Taiwan and Singapore, trust me, it’s very stable even using it bullet train at Taiwan cruising at speed over 300 KM per hour!

HSDPA technology is proven better than ADSL (Limited to the nature of copper line) The point is our telcos here don’t really optimize this technology.

Well, just search for user comments of HSDPA in other countries.

    Thanks.

Jack > foreign technology always better then here… I wonder why they cant have this service, may be they pay less, buy outdated equipment or defected machine

May i know what ISP should i choose right now? i wan more reliable, stable connection, any suggestion? Currently looking for streamyx combo RM60 package…what do u think about 384kbps speed? is it consider enough? I just use it alone and no other people will goig to share internet with me..Normally i will use internet to do surfing, blogging, facebooking, msn chatting and downloading drama 200-220mb for each file…

What do u think about other ISP like celcom broadband, maxis broadband with similar requirement(384kbps)?

Mind to share a little with me since i never have Internet at home before…
