Hi,

I find the first part of the post is interesting and impressive but the later part is annoying due to lack of awareness of the car requirement in local cars.

Proton car users (especially Iswara and Wira), please check your specification book!!! Recommended oil is RON97 or higher!!! So sad (T_T)

Before this i heard RON95 cause damage to certain car ie. Myvi,Gen2 others. At first I don’t believe it. But yesterday my car have fuel pump problem and this have been verified by my mechanic. I notice some petronas station put on notice/warning for certain car not to used RON95. s

My wife and I argued many times over this issue. She maintains that RON95 is actually an upgrade from RON92, so it is detrimental to my engine. I use a Nissan Grand Livina without any modifications, no turbocharge whatsoever. I have always serviced my vehicle at Nissan Svc Center. Do you think switching to RON95 will do any damage to my car?

how about the vehicle already convert to toyota supercharger?
is it suitable for my car use ron95?
or this will create other problem for my car?

Don’t care much. I just use RON95 due to cheaper.

i dunno its placebo effect or not but several people have said in their experience RON95 have bad effect to the engine.. duno, me not expertise in this area ^_^
