hi,

i have teamviewer program in my desktop, i wasn’t aware of it till today. A friend of mine send it to me ages before to accept it and i didn’t know what it was. Does this mean he is able to access all my files, photos and everything.

I did delete the program, but still let me know what information can be taken from my laptop.

Teamviewer is a good packaged software solution for personal use. But for business users, software-based solution usually has high up-front cost because you need to have a dedicated computer to host it to avoid disruptions from other applications and extensive time to setup and maintain.

By contrast, appliance has low upfront cost because it comes as a complete hardware and software bundled and pre-configured package. And there is no monthly fee. In most cases, it is also easy to deploy (plug-and-play). as for the maintenance, most of appliances have self-updating functions, so easy too.
The leading vendors in this category are RHUB and Sonicwall.

Logmein is actually alot faster than many people think if you change the remote access settings settings to be of less quality.

If i were you, i would stick with logmein, they have some CRAZY Features lined up which will revolutionise the way we work, such as auto install windows patches across an array of workstations.. Is it true that teamviewer free version that means the version used for noncommercial use allows to access a remote PC for at max 25 to 30 hours per month????

I have heard/ read in some blogs that per month only 25 to 30 hours we can use the free version of this software. although i have never exceeded more than 10 hours a month. so for me the free version really rocks ..but if some day i wish to work remotely using teamviewer it wount serve my purpose i guess.
