Is it good? I have a Pentium 3 laptop, it’s useless now and very laggy. I plan to reformat it with this Ubuntu. Got what special feature ?

I don’t have any actual benchmark here, but Ubuntu did feet like a lot faster running on my PC compare to XP. Of course I am talking about the running on the hardisk, not from the live CD.
Oh ya, you might already know this, the Ubuntu installation CD actually double as a Live CD, so download the iso, play with it (for me, no configuration whatsoever when I play with the Live CD, it detect all the network setting straightaway, and in no time I am connected to the net), and if you feel like it, install it…easy.

Linux is getting very user friendly now, so I would strongly recommend those who has spare or old machine to try it out ………………… and spend some time with it, as there would definitely a learning curve to go through !

But trust me, cos you would love it at the end !
