Some time when u roaming around our house, you will found that the WIFI signal will drop in different location, probably is that location have some distance between your Wifi Access Point(AP) and your WIFI receiver.
To overcome this limitation, few thing you can take, either change the Antenna to a higher decibels(The unit for measuring the relative strength of a signal) or install booster.
Booster and the Antenna are expensive, to be more budget, here come a DIY booster that enable you to get higher signal strength for your WIFI signal.

This is not a joke, it really give some extra strength, i remember last time when i Uni time, i study before a book about WIFI, and it also have some example of using the recycle springle Aluminium container as the booster

this kind of method mostly are for signal boardcaster…not for receiver…but i also have some example for WIFI receiver, i will post it up soon…
for receiver at lappie…there was no such way, you can just enhance ur boardcaster only…that mean ur AP…

this is a small version of enhancement only. Actually, this thing has been around for quite soe times. I bookmark few page that talked about Wifi enhancement @ http://www.blinklist.com/pelam/poorman%20wifi/ .
Personally, I used to enhance my wifi receiver before I got streamyx at my house. I used it to steal my neighbor’s signal. wuahaha. very effective.

Hi,
The video has been removed =(
btw, is that possible to modify or integrate the astro satellite disk with my P1Wimax receiver?
I plan to do so because my location is a bit out of their coverage, so i hope this could increase the signal strength.
your advice is greatly appreciated =)
